Almost every girl astatine one time or another, dreams about the day when she can select her preferred bridal gown from the array of wedding dresses available. You get a wide range of wedding dresses, whether modern, European style, Renaissance style, classical, baroque or elegantly simplistic, you will find the bridal gown of your dreams.

Fifties

Some of the older fashions that ar still democratic today are that of the Renaissance and a non so long ago, also the Fifties. The wedding dressesof the Fifties had flair and style surpassed by few modern day garment designs. Of course the bridal gowns available now are not carbon copies of the Fifties styles, but are rather modernised versions to suit the women of today.

Some of the features still present in a few of the garments on show today which were also present in the Fifties are:

* Veils attached to crown or clinch head wear.
* Basque type waistlines emphasizing thin waists.
* Fuller skirts which may require an additional petticoat to highlight the dress skirt.
* Bolero type jackets worn over a strapless garment
* Elaborate usage of silk organza as fabric for the bridal dress.
